Compensation mechanism &  feedback!

In daily life, compensation usually means something positive. You have not received a salary increase, but you do get a company car. Here "something" is replaced by "something" equivalent.

In our body, compensation is usually not that positive! If our body compensates for something, it does so to stay balanced. You remove a stone to the left from a stacked stone tower and the balance is disturbed and must be compensated / restored elsewhere.

Compensation in our body is usually the sacrifice of the natural position or condition that is barely compensated!
You can read below why the alignment of the Atlas is so important for our entire body and how compensation can be restored.
We can restore your balance!

Why are our senses and balance so important for our health?

The upper part of our shoulders and neck contain the largest number of senses (relative to the surface) which absorb mechanical stimuli (proprioception or sense of position).
Our self-perception and the functioning of our brains (feedback) is very dependent on the functioning of these receptor senses. With the wrong head and neck position, we stimulate these receptors in the wrong way and thereby send wrong information to the brain. Based on this information, the brain provides a follow-up response or recovery action.
However, in the worst case they can ensure that no recovery action occurs. Through this feedback our entire body starts to function based on incorrect information.

A good example of this is the relationship between our main attitude and our balance organ.
If our head is tilted, our balance organ ensures that our eyes, in that position, still experience as if our head is level, and therefore we do not notice that our head is tilted. We then do nothing to correct the head and keep it straight or straight.
This is clearly visible on the accompanying photos.

Imbalance due to incorrect feedback!

If our head is tilted, our spine must restore the disturbed balance by compensating for it. However, the spine wants to compensate for the crooked head and before we know it one shoulder is higher than the other or one leg seems to be longer, etc.

As the body becomes more curved due to the position of the spine, it also receives incorrect stimulation from other receptors feedback and this leads to large-scale miscommunication. This in turn causes various other disorders in the body and a faster aging of the body.

Our spine is the key to our health and this is especially true for the body parts that depend on the feedback information such as the Hypothalamus in the brain.

"It is necessary to have a thorough knowledge of the spine, because many disorders are actually caused by a defect in it" "Hippocrates 400 for Christ"

Hypothalamus disrupted, our lives disrupted!

If the Hypothalamus is disrupted by incorrect feedback, our entire body starts to send out weird signals. This happens because the Hypothalamus hunger and thirst, temperature regulation, emotions such as flight or fight (stress hormone), biological clock (sleep-wake rhythm), reproduction, in short, regulates homeostasis.

'Homeostasis is the maintenance of nutrients and waste in the cells via the internal environment. An organism can adjust the function of each individual organ through homeostasis. "

Every feedback is crucial and brings our brain to action or causes our body to regenerate. We do not want compensation mechanisms (such as the balancing organ) for shifts of taking care of the vertebrae, influencing the overall functioning of our body.
Our body is programmed to survive and has everything to offer, even so much that sacrificing an organ is the right strategy if it can save the rest of the body !!

That is why maintaining the vertical structure of our body is much more important than we think!

Our head in balance, our body in balance!

As you can see on the photo, our head balances as it were with half its weight on the front, and with the other half it is held by the muscles and ligaments on the back. Because the balance of the Atlas head depends, the position of the Atlas is crucial for the balance of the head.
Every shift, rotation or tilt of the Atlas ensures that the head is no longer in the correct balanced position. If the Atlas is shifted or tilted, the head tilts and shifts to!

We are not all just as crooked!

If it is normal for us to become crooked with age, we would all be crooked same! We would all walk with our heads forward or to the left.

Why do we resemble each other in our "crookedness" but are we so different?

The position of our Atlas determines the crookedness of the body for everyone and so we are all crooked in a different way. The unique key position of the Atlas is crucial.
Because the Atlas is the only internal bone responsible for the optimal position of our (5-7 kg heavy) head, the position of the Atlas must be correct in all directions.
In this way, despite the influence of the head weight and the influence of gravity, the rest of the spine also remains in a perpendicular position.

With an Atlas massage you can put an atlas that is wrongly positioned back on its anatomical site, and in this way get the unique journey back to better posture and health.

This can certainly be achieved through the HumanUP method!

A crooked or tilt body posture due to sub-luxation of the Atlas is the law of nature!

A shift, tilt or rotation of the Atlas not only disturbs the neighboring neighbors (cervical vertebrae, muscles, ligaments, bloodstreams and nerves as a flow of communication) but the structure of the entire body (from the upper neck to the lower back).
This is because the Atlas is the central equilibrium point of the human body and by shifting the weight of our head, the equilibrium also shifts the vertical axis of our body. This brings the entire subtle kinetic chain of the spine out of balance.

As a result, the vertebrae of the spinal column can start to shift in different places (sub-luxations). Unwanted curves arise. On the outside, people get a hunchback, or they start crooked, get a hernia or other unpleasant symptoms.

The communication of our brains and our bodies is also impeded by all these sub-luxations. The feedback for the recovery of our body comes partly or not at all. Wrong feedback leads to wrong decisions by our own physician (the little brain) and this chain of miscommunications disrupts our body and therefore our life!
The correct position of the Atlas appears to be crucial for our overall functioning.
Note: Very often spinal problems (affecting the spine) cause pain in totally different areas and in very different parts of the body. This creates uncertainty as to the cause of a pain or complaint and initiates treatments for other disorders, which subsequently prove to be hardly effective. It is very important to first pay careful attention to the spine and then it is important to bring our body into the correct vertical position and to maintain this position.
The tilt of the Atlas is therefore the cause of the tilt of the head!
Tilt head is the cause of the crooked spine!
The adjustment of the Atlas is the adjustment of your spine!
The adjustment of your spine means reducing a large number of complaints.
